Pick up food. The received Christmas goose was of the best quality, with many side dishes, finely arranged on a platter, just good with the best price / performance ratio.

Very nice hotel, together with a small beer garden on a mountain above Fulda. The volume of the restaurant visitors in no way disturbs the night's sleep. Very nice rooms, lovingly furnished. Walk-in shower, great view of the Wasserkuppe.

We felt very comfortable and ate delicious. The hotel is in a great location with a beautiful view. The cleanliness gets 5 stars! Room facilities are great!

The rooms are flawless and clean, but in the hotel area no great importance is attached to corona hygiene. At the reception, there is no face mask, there are no disinfectants, at the breakfast buffet all cutlery or glasses are touched by the guests without gloves. We were recently in Kassel and the hygiene concept has been implemented in an exemplary manner. I was just as astonished when I paid the overnight stay, because an extra amount was due for my wife, but with an inexplicable reason. In Kassel I had the same booking without any problems with the agreed price! Conclusion: BE CAREFUL WHEN BOOKING!

The Florenberg is a beautifully located excursion restaurant with a beautiful beer garden. The food with a regional touch and the service can be described as good. The hotel rooms in the new / extension are modern. Overall, the impression remains that one could not or did not want to part with the traditional. Price / performance = ok

Very nice location with a very nice view! The presumed owner was in such a bad mood that he pamped several guests from our group and did so again and again. Absolute NO GO !!! It's a shame that we won't visit this beautiful location in the future due to its unfriendliness

We had visited the restaurant recommended to us on a Sunday at noon and unfortunately cannot recommend it to anyone. 1. The drinks were taken up quickly and the service made a friendly, if somewhat annoyed impression. 2. The shandy was served promptly, but unfortunately the other two drinks (apple juice spritzer) came with a significant delay, so that a toast together was no longer possible, the beer would have completely lost its already unstable crown. 3. The food order was taken, the service seemed somehow rushed, although at this point max. 15 people, including us were in the restaurant. My wife ordered the fried dumplings with "fresh chanterelles", our mother ordered the sea bream fillet with paprika vegetables and tagliatelle but changed the side dish to fried potatoes. That was too much for our waitress instead of courteously fulfilling the request, we immediately received a snotty answer: It costs 1 € more. Now I ordered my chanterelle schnitzel which according to the menu is served with french fries, this side dish was in my opinion. Not suitable for this dish and I asked the waitress if it would be possible to get the fried dumplings instead of the fries and, anticipating, I replied to pay the € due. So our order was on the way to the kitchen, so we dealt with our surroundings. We noticed that the place is very sober, if not to say very spartan, you won't find plants or pictures, let alone lovingly collected decorative items, the place gives the impression of a better cafeteria. It gets very loud with the increase in the number of guests because there are no sound-absorbing substances or the like. so that one speaks louder and louder to be able to talk in order to counteract the sound level, which has the consequence that it becomes louder and louder. On this day 3 people tried to ensure the well-being of the guests. The owner, a waitress and probably a trainee / intern or similar, who probably had a migration background. As already mentioned at the beginning, our service made a, let's say stressed impression, but the owner was the personified rudeness, he did not let any situation out of his trainees to compress, although he visibly tried to please his boss, but under his strict control This was not even possible to look at. One situation even showed how he threatened this young man with his fist and everything in the public guest room was perceptible to guests. 4. The meal was served first, my "chanterelle schnitzel", but on the 2 schnitzels there was only a very thick cream sauce with some indefinable crumbs which should probably represent chanterelles. The waitress must have seen from the look on my face that I wasn't so happy. When asked if something was wrong, I said with a little irony that I was looking for the chanterelles. Without a comment, the plate was torn from me and served again a short time later with a decent portion of chanterelles. Our mother's sea bream was very nice, even if it was clearly recognizable as a frozen item. Then there should be the fried dumplings with chanterelles, but instead of them there were fried meatballs from wild boar with the mushrooms already mentioned. After we pointed out the mishap to the waitress, she only noticed that my wife had ordered this dish, no sign of regret. This plate, too, was then removed with the comment "that will take time". M.E. Many ready-made products are used in this restaurant: frozen schnitzel, frozen chanterelles, frozen sea bream, ready-made sauce that is not modified. All in all, a rather average restaurant with a lot of room for improvement. The landlord has unfortunately not shown up, he probably prefers to criticize, but does not tolerate criticism.

Ordered a salad with chicken today Price € 12.90 looked delicious after two bites a fly crawled out of the middle from below. The waitress said that would be normal for a beer garden, took the complained salad ... shortly afterwards they offered me a small side salad (4.50 €) without meat without bread. Unfortunately, the large salad was charged. Not customer-oriented. NEVER DISAPPOINTED VERY AGAIN

The food was an absolute letdown. Meat quality was good, also given as regional, which is very commendable! But all the side dishes (we ordered 6 different dishes) consistently looked and tasted like the finished product. Not eatable! The price was based on a high class restaurant and unfortunately not appropriate for this meal at all! It's a shame. Service friendly. Ambience like in an indoor pool.
